According to statistics, in the full-color LED display series products, the scanning methods are 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, static. How to distinguish between different LED full-color display scanning methods? One of the simplest methods is to count the number of LEDs on the LED electronic display screen unit board and the number of 74HC595. Of course, it also needs to be combined with the specific analysis of the corresponding LED drive scanning characteristics.

Full color led display

Calculation method: the number of LEDs divided by the number of 74HC595 and then divided by 8 = a fraction of the scan

The real-pixel LED display screen corresponds to the virtual LED electronic display screen: in short, the real-pixel screen refers to the red, green and blue light-emitting tubes that constitute the display screen. Each of the three light-emitting tubes that constitute the display screen only participates in one pixel at the end. Imaging applications to achieve satisfactory brightness.

The virtual pixel uses a software algorithm to control the light-emitting tube of each color to participate in the imaging of multiple adjacent pixels, and then uses fewer tubes to complete a larger resolution, which can increase the display resolution by four times.

In the full-color LED display screen series products, there are 16 scans, 8 scans, 4 scans, etc., and there are also differences in the following:

1. The scanning method of the LED display screen is different;

2. The brightness of the LED electronic display screen is different (16s less than 8s less than 4s);

3. The quotation is not the same, maybe it is understood that the number of driving IC chips used is not the same (16s of the same type is lower than 8s and lower than 4s)

The current LED display screens on the market can be roughly divided into two methods: static scanning and dynamic scanning! Static scanning is divided into static real pixels and static virtual! Dynamic scanning is also divided into dynamic real image and dynamic virtual. There are 2 scans, 4 scans, 8 scans, and 16 scans.

To illustrate: A common full-color module pixel for PH16 in the field is 168 (2R1G1B). If it is driven by MBI5026, the modules used are:

168(2 plus 1 plus 1)=512 lights, MBI5026 is a 16-bit chip, 512/16=32

1. If 32 MBI5026 chips are used, it is static virtual.

2. If 16 MBI5026 chips are used, it is a dynamic 1/2 scan virtual.

3. If 8 MBI5026 chips are used, it is dynamic 1/4 scan virtual.

If the two red lights on the full-color LED display unit board are connected in series:

4. Use 24 MBI5026 chips, which are static real pixels.

5. Using 12 MBI5026 chips, it is a dynamic 1/2 scan real pixel.

6. Using 6 MBI5026 chips, it is a dynamic 1/4 scanning real pixel
